When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write a brave new ending.

Services

I work with children and young people, and their families, regarding difficulties in a number of different areas including:

  • anxiety
  • low mood
  • trauma
  • self-esteem
  • adjustment
  • self-regulation

My work is guided by ecological and developmental theories and I use elements of strengths-based, cognitive-behavioural, and creative therapies in my work. I am also trained in EMDR and attachment-based therapies.

About me

I completed my training through the Child and Family Psychology programme at the University of Canterbury. Since then, I have enjoyed supporting people to learn more about themselves as well as ideas that can help with moving forward.

My training and work have provided me with many experiences of getting to know people and their individual needs and characteristics, which has pushed me to grow and develop my own skills to make sure that I am providing the most appropriate support I can. I have lived in Christchurch for the past 10 years and love being out in the mountains skiing with my husband and friends.
